Wendy Homer

I have over thirty years of experience as a psychotherapist. I enjoy working with all age groups, including children, adolescents and adults. I provide a safe space to talk openly about your problems, reveal deep fears, identify your strengths, and discover new ways to cope with challenging situations. I help individuals become more self-confident and enjoy more satisfying and productive lives. I help couples and families improve their relationships. Over the years I have developed many areas of expertise including: adoption issues, infertility, ADHD, adolescent adjustment problems, adult survivors of sexual abuse, conflict resolution, divorce and co-parenting, the challenges of single parenting, issues faced by family caregivers, living with chronic pain, and coping with anxiety and depression. I love getting to know people in a deep way and supporting them in achieving their goals. People describe me as warm, understanding, compassionate, empowering and grounded. I believe therapy is a collaborative process and my style is interactive. I tailor my approach to fit the unique needs of each person I see.
