My passion as a clinician is to empower individuals, couples, and families learn how to live life free from the emotional, mental, physical, sexual, and spirituals struggles as a result of past and present issues and circumstances. My goal is to allow clients the freedom to express self openly, without judgment, and realize they are the expert and my role is to provide additional insight and guidance. I once read that when the student is ready the teacher will appear, the same concept is true for therapy, when the client is ready the therapist will appear. My specialty is working with at-risk-youth and families, individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, and all areas of mental health issues by utilizing concepts from Cognitive Behavior therapy, Dialectical Behavior therapy, Solution Focus/Strength based perspective, and Trauma-Focused therapy. My past experience working with Texas DFPS, past experience with providing intensive in-home therapeutic services to family via MHMR of Tarrant County, has equipped me with the skills set, knowledge, passion, calmness, directness, and insight to work with a diverse population of people. I am wanting to connect my passion helping with yours for change.
