Many people choose to enter therapy to gain a deeper understanding of themselves – their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in addition to problems in their interpersonal relationships. Oftentimes, the issues we face in the present stem from painful experiences in the past. As a result of these experiences, we develop ways of coping in the world – some continue to serve us well and others may get in the way of us living a more fulfilling life. I offer a warm, non-judgmental, and safe environment for exploration, healing, and growth. I work with individuals across the lifespan who are dealing with a variety of concerns including stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues in addition to grief and loss. I specialize in treating survivors of interpersonal trauma including sexual assault and various forms of childhood abuse and neglect. My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship in which you feel seen, heard, valued, and empowered to reach your goals. I have training and experience in modalities including EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, and Internal Family Systems. I also draw from psychoanalytic training where I am a current candidate at the School for Relational Psychoanalysis.
