I am a licensed professional counselor and I work with adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, phobias, eating disorders, trauma, grief and loss, family of origin, and relationships. I am Level I trained in the Gottman Method of couples counseling and I have completed Level I EMDR training. My clinical specialties include eating disorders, self-esteem, body image, and the connection between physical health and emotional well being. As a therapist, I utilize a psychodynamic perspective, but also incorporate components of cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy, depending on the needs of each client. My goal is to provide an open and empathetic space in which clients can share their backgrounds and challenges, and move towards positive growth.
