Wrestling with compulsive behavior can be profoundly challenging and discouraging. It’s not uncommon to wonder if there is hope of calming the chaos and living a manageable life. I believe there is, and have committed my life to help support my clients along their journey to a quiet, ordered heart and mind. I have completed extensive training to become a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT-Candidate). I have also completed training towards becoming certified in Developmental and Relational Trauma Therapy (DARTT). These specialties support each other and give me a deeper well from which to draw in my work with clients. I deeply value each person’s unique background and love exploring the narratives that have shaped individuals’ lives. I think it is essential to incorporate the client’s story into the counseling relationship, whether it be family, faith, ethnicity or occupation. It is what makes sustained change possible!
