Randi Ditta

My goal in counseling is to understand my client's worldview and values in order to apply them toward meaningful, experiential treatment. I use an existential approach to pursue goals that are individually developed to meet the client's needs and definition of wellness. I believe that the individual has the power to develop and utilize skills to face the life issues within their grasp and to define, reframe, and live a fulfilling life with those issues beyond their grasp. I work with all ages and have experience treating a variety of emotional, behavioral, and diagnostic issues. I integrate techniques from several theories, including existential, psychoanalytic, gestalt, adlerian, person-centered, brief solution-focused, internal family systems, and play therapy. I incorporate clients' hobbies, interests, and beliefs into experiential activities in combination with talk therapy to promote meaningful and emotionally powerful growth. I am eager to meet and establish care with clients throughout my area.
