Rachel has an integrative and eclectic therapeutic approach as she utilizes various treatment modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic therapy, solution-focused therapy, trauma and grief counseling. Rachel believes it is important for her clients to feel empowered, more self-aware, and create a strong therapeutic relationship in which the individual is able to process their feelings throughout their time together. Rachel has worked with individuals and adolescents suffering from depression, anxiety/stress, suicide ideation, mental health disorders, personality disorders, sexual disorders, eating disorders, trauma/PTSD, grief/loss, domestic violence, criminal history, homelessness, substance use and struggling with lack of self-esteem, sexual identify, and self-worth.
