I am an optimistic and patient social work professional with experience in diagnosing and providing therapy to diverse individuals with various severe and chronic mental illnesses. I have experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings working with adolescents and adults. My areas of expertise include suicidal ideation, any form of self harm, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, borderline personality disorder, self-esteem, family/relationship issues and many more. With each client I focus on empowering, motivating and strengthening each individuals ability to cope with managing the everyday stressors of life. My goal in treatment is to always assure that my clients feel safe and comfortable especially when we meet initially to discuss the expectations and needs of therapy. Once a therapeutic relationship is formed, I strive to challenge and empower my clients to feel confident in making the changes necessary to fulfill their personal goals. I aspire to develop strong working relationships with clients by being genuinely empathic, open minded and non-judgmental. The ultimate goal is for my clients to feel they've accomplished and maintained a life worth living.
