When there is a rupture or disturbance internally and/or within a relationship, it may need special care. There are many reasons this can occur and is part of the human experience. My goal is to help clients by providing a safe context within which to address issues related to loss, including trauma, grief, anxiety and depression. I use a variety of therapeutic methods which are helpful in working toward healing, a renewed sense of self and connection to others. My training is in psychotherapy, with a focus on healing within relationship where specific patterns of relating are encountered, addressed and reshaped. Expressive therapy (art, writing, music, drama), body awareness and mindfulness practices are ways that I help clients access and work through difficult to verbalize emotions. Seeking help is a courageous act. It is a large step towards remembering that you are not alone, healing exists and you can be more fully alive and connected.
