Who I Serve

Therapy can be a potent force in helping you to understand yourself and make meaningful changes in your life. It takes courage, however, to begin this process – a process of looking at the way you see yourself, of the way you approach relationships, of the way you make sense of the world around you. I believe it requires a supportive and trusting relationship to do that. I will respect the experiences that have led you to the place where you are. I will help you understand how you have gotten there. Together, we will work to get you to where you want to be. I work from a psychodynamic perspective, although I utilize other approaches as well depending on your needs. When symptoms are interfering with your day-to-day life, we’ll focus on both understanding the cause and, in the meantime, using strategies to manage them. While I have worked with people across the life span, I have particular expertise in working with young adults. I have experience in helping people with a wide range
