I enjoy working with people who are reluctant about or new to the therapeutic process. My clients would tell you that I am very laid-back, non-judgmental, and authentic. I welcome humor and enjoy working with people to shift their perspectives when things get rough. I am passionate about self-discovery, empowerment, and personal growth. I view anxiety, depression, and addiction as maladaptive coping skills that can offer insight and serve as a catalyst for positive change. I received my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling and Expressive Therapies. This has equipped me with a diverse therapeutic tool bag. If my clients are open to it, I will incorporate art, music, and other forms of expression. I otherwise utilize an eclectic approach, incorporating elements of Narrative, Person-Centered, and Trauma-Informed therapies. It's perfectly fine to be nervous! Call for a free phone consultation and see what you think! Some evening appointments available.
