Laura Rehwaldt

Clients who are motivated to grow, heal, learn and be challenged are Laura’s ideal clients. She has found that those who desire positive change combined with resilience training, empathic listening and care, have the highest increased positive changes in their life experience from therapy. Laura has worked at the elementary, middle school and high school level with those dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, stress from multiple transitions. She has worked with young adults with the same issues including educational and career stresses. Finally, she is passionate about women’s issues, chronic disease & self esteem issues. Healing is a process that must be taken one step. Laura utilizes an eclectic approach, including CBT, to assist in healthy growth. To heal and grow emotionally one must examine their past, present, their goals, routines, habits & patterns. Often there are changes that can be made by adding or taking away, either healthy or unhealthy thoughts and habits. Laura brings real life experience, education, empathy, understanding, care & compassion as she provides counseling to individuals, couples & families, in Washington State.  As a military child & therapist who worked with active duty military, she understands the impact change has. This understanding results in positive impact for her clients.
