Life is full of highs and lows and it can be difficult to navigate through some of the intense emotions that coincide with everyday life occurrences. As a clinician, I recognize how difficult it can be to seek help. I treat each of my patients individualistically and attempt to meet their unique needs drawing from a broad range of therapeutic techniques including: cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, person centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and acceptance and commitment therapy. I also strive to work collaboratively with my patients utilizing a strengths-based approach. I have earned a Masters degree in clinical psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Northern Virginia. My expertise lies in working with patients with severe mental illness as well as patients who are mandated to treatment. I also have experience working with patients struggling with depression, anxiety, & trauma. Prior to entering the field of psychology I was actively pursuing a career in professional singing. I studied at the world renowned Jacobs School of Music under some of the best singers in the world. As an unconventional clinician, I like to incorporate music and expressive therapy techniques into my work whenever I can.
