At Sanctuary Counseling Group, we believe in creating therapeutic relationships with our clients that promote the healing of heart, mind, and soul. Therapy is a Sacred Space. As a systemic therapist I welcome individuals, couples, children, and family systems into the room. I believe in creating a non-judgmental and open context that will often draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Experiential Therapy, and Mindfulness based strategies.I received my Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pfeiffer University and was selected as the Student of the Year by the faculty. I specialize in working with couples, children, intimacy/sexuality, and spiritual exploration. My counseling experiences include issues of anxiety, depression, communication, physical illness, mixed-orientation marriages, sexuality, spirituality, loss/grief, adjustment after gastric surgery, trauma, childhood abuse, infidelity, and separation/divorce issues.
