Who I Serve

"You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them" -Maya Angelou, Letter to My Daughter. We all have weaknesses we can make into strengths. Life is about finding the things we can control and focusing on making changes in those areas. My goal is to guide my clients in the direction of what they have control of and help them make the positive changes in those areas. Most often I work with individuals and families who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, adjustment disorders, life transitions, parenting and family issues, stress & anger management, health & wellness and school & work issues. I have worked with people of all areas of the lifespan. I find that the therapeutic relationship is most important to build in the beginning and maintain throughout my work with clients. I work hard to create an environment where my clients can build trust with me and the therapeutic process. With trust and time comes change and strength.
