My goal is to provide each client with an emotionally safe environment where they feel comfortable exploring even the biggest challenges, whether it is how to manage overwhelming emotions such as anxiety or depression, rebuild a more honest sense of identity, learn to recognize and fight unhealthy or toxic patterns in life & relationships, confront past trauma or abuse, or other flavors of struggle. Many of my clients battle mood disorders, daunting life transitions, relationship issues, as well as cultural issues, LGBTQ integration struggles, grief/loss, trauma, & body image discomfort/disordered eating. I take an integrative approach to counseling that includes aspects of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Client-Centered, & Cognitive-Behavioral therapeutic techniques, among others. I find so much joy and purpose in helping others on their own journey to find healing, meaning, & empowerment. I have a genuine enthusiasm for all manners of life and strive to help others cultivate their own version of what it means to truly embrace life. No matter the issue, I am committed remaining unbiased, empathetic, and focused on helping you discover ways to independently manage daily struggles and actively work toward living a life full of purpose & meaning.
