In therapy we are not trying to fix ourselves, we instead learn how to co-exist, practice self-compassion, and broaden our perspective. Starting therapy can be challenging and can bring up many things that we spend a lot of time and energy avoiding. I will try my best to create a non-judgmental and safe space for you to process what is going on in your life. My approach is trauma-informed and mindfulness-based. I include cognitive-behavioral interventions, as well as experiential and creative exercises to process. You will get to decide what we discuss in our sessions and hopefully, with time, you will be able to lean into the discomfort of therapy and discover all the benefits that come with it. As a therapist and yoga teacher I also offer interventions that emphasize the body-mind connection. I have worked with survivors of domestic violence and have experience working with a wide variety of populations. I provide services in English and German and offer a discounted rate for anyone who is going through the process of immigration. Feel free to email me if you have any questions.
