I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for helping children work through challenges and difficult life experiences. I use play therapy to assist children in realizing their full potential, to help them thrive in the face of adversity and to increase self esteem. As a certified positive disciple parent educator I can give parents tools to create more harmony, connectedness and peace at home. I also incorporate EMDR and Trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy for families that have experienced any type of trauma. I'm trained in Synergetic Play TherapyTM (2008) a researched-informed model of play therapy blending the therapeutic power of play with nervous system regulation, interpersonal neurobiology, attachment, mindfulness, and therapist authenticity.
