Therapist Overview

I am passionate about helping young adults overcome challenges, discover their potential and navigate a new path to independence. As the founder and president of The Dorm, a young adult treatment community based in New York City and Washington, D.C., my team and I work with adolescents, young adults and their families who are seeking an individualized level of support and guidance. Our clients come to us with a broad range of diagnoses and experiences, including mood and attachment disorders, personality disorders, trauma, substance use or eating disorders. For each client, we develop custom treatment plans that meet their unique needs and will adapt to where they are today, be that at home, at school or out in the community. Our services include partial residential treatment, evidence-based clinical therapies and practical life skills training. We have a holistic treatment approach and are committed to creating a healthy community environment for each client to be a part of — one that fosters support, accountability and belonging.
