Jessica Cruz

My work with each person is different, since we are all so different. I’ve supported children, adolescents, and families of Latino and/or African-American backgrounds, though I am excited to support individuals of all backgrounds. I am especially interested in individual work that eventually supports the growth of the entire family system. I have personal and professional experience navigating the world of being a first generation American. I am bilingual and can provide both direct and indirect consultative services, in Spanish. The focus of my work is about guiding and facilitating individuals in the pursuit of their own peace and balance. The peace of knowing that you are exactly where and who you should be, at this time. We all have the answers and potential to reach this peace. I hope to support individuals in unpacking those answers and that potential for continued balance. If I had to use “less scary” words to describe my role as a therapist, they would be advocate, facilitator, encourager, listener and challenger. At some point in our lives, and for an indeterminate amount of time, we ALL need a little extra support. For some, it’s a season of one year and for others, it may be ten years. I hope to be here to do that for you.
