Jena Johnson Sternberg

Jena offers an integrative counseling style that goes beyond traditional therapy. One will likely instantly feel comfort as a result of her warmth and authenticity. She provides a compassionate and supportive environment that fosters growth and healing. Jena has experience working with individuals who suffer with depression, anxiety, communication issues, women’s issues, chronic pain and trauma. She works well with women experiencing the emotions associated with infertility and perinatal depression/anxiety. She has experience working with the struggles people face while building and growing their families. Jena is trained in somatic and attachment focused EMDR therapy (The SAFE Approach) through the Personal Transformation Institute (PTI). She is also designated by the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) as a Certified EMDR therapist and EMDRIA-approved therapist. Jena’s authenticity, compassion and understanding allows her to connect with clients easily, giving them the ability to feel comfortable and accepted. She welcomes the opportunity to walk along side you on your journey to healing and growth. Therapy is offered via Teletherapy, in Flower Mound and Plano during the days, evenings and on weekends.
