I provide individual therapy to adults (ages 20+) experiencing a range of problems, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and major life transitions, among others. I offer compassion and empathy from a strength-based approach. Taking the step to begin therapy can create mixed feelings for some. I will meet you where you are, realizing that you have a unique story, which you’re free to share at your own pace. Just a brief history about me: My experience in psychotherapy/counseling began over 20 years ago and has included various populations who have shared stories of rejection, abandonment, and spiritual and emotional brokenness. I help clients to recognize their strengths and resiliency as they work towards healing. I have a special interest in trauma and working with first responders and the military. I am Certified in EMDR, and I rely heavily on my training in Trauma, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), depending on the needs of the client. I love what I do! I offer a free phone consultation for those who may have questions about whether therapy (or me) may be a good fit. I believe therapy should be accessible to everyone. I offer a reduced fee for those in need or without insurance. If I’m unable to accommodate you, I can make referrals to other community resources.
