Throughout life we have experiences that can lead us to struggle with difficult feelings that interfere with how we want to live our lives. We can have difficulty in relationships with others, feel unsure about who we are or what we want, or feel stuck and find it difficult to move forward. People typically seek out therapy in order to feel happier, live a more fulfilled life, or feel better in the relationships they have with others. Therapy can help you develop a better understanding of yourself, understand why you feel how you feel, learn how to cope with difficult or overwhelming feelings, and how to move forward. I am a clinical psychologist and have worked with children, teens, and adults. I have worked with people who have had traumatic experiences, struggle with mood disorders such as depression or anxiety, and who are having difficulty in their relationships. I work collaboratively with my clients to figure out what the best course of action is. Therapy is one of the best places to talk about some of the most difficult things we feel we cannot talk about anywhere else. My goal is to provide a safe, warm, and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. It is important for me to understand your cultural background, what you are struggling with, and your goals.
