Therapy is a valuable resource when navigating life’s challenges. The therapeutic process builds confidence, improves the ability to cope, increases the capacity for connection and intimacy, and expands self-knowledge and understanding. I offer therapy to individuals of diverse backgrounds and identities suffering from anxiety, depression, stage-of-life issues, and grief and loss. The foundation of my work is compassionate presence and a belief in the inherent wisdom and resilience of each individual. I work collaboratively with each individual to create a supportive nonjudgmental atmosphere which will provide the context for positive change. My training is in psychodynamic psychotherapy and I use an integrated approach, drawing from a variety of theoretical frameworks. My work arises from the integration of Western psychology and Eastern perspectives on the nature of mind and experience.
