Empowerment Counseling

I take a very practical and systematic approach to the process of counseling. I approach my work clients from a humanistic, mindful, and Visually based solution-focused perspective. Within that framework I build a comprehensive outline of factors and information about my clients past, present, and future. My integrative approach involves family systems theory, not just psychological rhetoric. It also involves interpersonal connectivity to foster trust. Cognitive behavioral therapy which helps change the way we think and act. And also visual and psycho-educational tools which help retain information. I believe that every human being experiences challenges and has been given limitations from their families of origin and life experience. But I also believe that we can heal through reparative experiences within the therapeutic process and by changing patterns in our life. I approach each person as a unique example of one human connecting with another. I enjoy working with a wide range of individuals from kids to seniors. My specialty is dealing with the issues that result from life and living. I enjoy exploring heavy existential questions but also taking a more practical approach. I created Empowerment Counseling in order to help those in my community learn to feel better and live more fulfilling lives.
