Therapist Overview

It seems that our greatest growth happens during times of pain, confusion, and disappointment. It is my goal as a counselor to help individuals and couples walk through the pain and confusion they are experiencing in order to have more freedom in their lives and relationships. I do come from a Christian perspective and can incorporate different aspects of faith into the healing process for those who are interested. I began my career in 2003 treating eating disorders and the impact on individuals and families in an inpatient setting. In 2007 I started my private practice and expanded the focus to include depression, identity issues, trauma, grief and loss as well as relationship issues. I have been trained in EMDR and use this approach in treating trauma. I consider it a great privilege to walk with others as they share their hopes, thoughts and emotions in a way that brings healing and redemption through those difficult times. I use a holistic approach which explores issues as they impact the emotional, spiritual, and relational aspects of a person’s life.
