Efrain Antonio Gonzalez

Dr. Efrain Antonio Gonzalez provides individual psychotherapy to adults and adolescents. Psychotherapy offers an opportunity to manage anxiety, depression, and relationship issues by exploring difficult experiences and emotions in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Dr. Gonzalez is a certified Psychoanalyst and an Adjunct Professor at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in Neuroscience and Psychopharmacology. Previously, he was the Director of the Medical Psychology Service at Jackson Memorial Medical Center, where he worked for 32 years. Dr. Gonzalez completed his clinical training at Yale University School of Medicine. Psychotherapy is a unique experience that provides the opportunity to share difficult experiences in our lives and work through personal issues in a safe and non-judgmental environment. It is also an opportunity to learn how to manage symptoms of anxiety, depression and relationship issues through exploration of experiences that trigger unpleasant symptoms.
