“Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the assessment that something else is more important than fear.” – F. D. Roosevelt. I know how much courage it takes for some to come to therapy. I admire you for taking this brave step and deciding that despite the fear of the unknown, it is more important that something needs to change. I am here to help you take this next step and help you in which ever way you want and need it. I'll work to create an environment where you can be comfortable and feel safe to work on aspects of yourself and your life that you would not touch elsewhere. I'm excited to meet you! My treatment approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Object Relations, Humanistic, Narrative therapy, EMDR techniques, and Motivational Interviewing. I have worked with adolescents, the LGBTQ+ population, as well as individuals and couples with issues including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, infidelity, trauma, abuse, co-dependency, addiction/AA. My goal is to create a relationship with you that's based on honesty and genuine compassion. I believe every person is amazing in their own way and deserves love, kindness, and happiness. I became a therapist because I truly believe in the positive impact therapy can have on a person’s life and I want to share this gift with you if you are willing to try it.
