Diana Goldman de Zocchi has over 30 years of clinical experience in both individual and couple therapy/counseling in three different countries: Argentina, Spain and the United States. She received her Bachelor and Master Degrees in Psychology from the University of Buenos Aires. Diana completed 4 additional years of psychodynamic training at the Argentinean Psychoanalytical Association (Member of the IPA ). Diana also has more than 10 years of experience in Teaching and Supervision of postgraduate trainees. She currently supervises fellow colleagues in private practice and is faculty in China America Psychoanalytical Alliance. Diana specializes in the treatment of adults with depression, anxiety, phobias, bereavement and grief, acculturation issues, post traumatic stress and interpersonal relationship discord. Her clinical approach to treatment includes psychodynamic therapy with integration of cognitive-behavioral techniques as needed. She is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. I believe that in the therapeutic process is essential to help the client identify misunderstandings in relation to oneself, to others, or in relation to their interpretation of life events. My main goal is to individually assess and provide the client with appropriate coping skills to decrease their emotional pain and unhealthy repetitive patterns.
