Therapist Overview

Are you struggling with depression, anxiety or addiction? You don’t have to feel this way. I have more than 20 years of experience in helping people improve their mood, their self-esteem, their relationships, and their functioning. We’ll work on getting you feeling better and making your life more manageable, even when the world has been less than kind. I am trained in effective treatments for mood and anxiety disorders, management of symptoms of chronic mental illness, as well as co-occurring addiction issues. My goal is to provide a safe place to heal your hurts and become the whole person you were meant to be. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but I’m also trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Schema Therapy, etc. I also provide an affirming space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community. You don’t have to do this alone. Let’s talk about what’s going wrong, and how you’d like your life to be better. We’ll come up with a plan to get you back on track and back to your life. This is a big step, but you’re worth it. Call or email to schedule a first appointment, or a brief consultation to discuss your needs and how I might assist you.
