My belief is that people want to be happy and effective in their lives and I am a supportive partner in the process of you achieving this. I have worked with individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationships, those who are adjusting to life changes as well as people living with chronic illness and pain. As part of therapy, I may ask you to participate in experiential exercises or try new behaviors in session and at home to help you learn new skills. I may challenge you to think differently or modify behavior in order for you to feel better. I served in the military as a psychologist and have assisted individuals process and heal from a range of traumatic events using evidence-based treatment such as Cognitive Processing Therapy & Prolonged Exposure. I also specialize in treating the behavioral factors in complex medical conditions such as chronic pain, IBS and other chronic illnesses.
