I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with years of experience working with children, teens, and adults, with a wide range of treatment issues - often complicated by trauma/abuse. I am trained in Trauma-Informed Therapy, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, TBRI (Trust Based Relational Interventions), EMDR and Natural Lifemanship (trauma focused equine-assisted therapy). I work with clients with a range of issues such as: anxiety, depression, survivor of violence, grief/bereavement, life transitions, personality disorders, relationship issues. If requested by the client, I offer faith-based counseling. I incorporate animal and equine-assisted therapy approaches utilizing the rescued animals at Ranch Hand Rescue - which adds another dimension to our sessions. Appointments can be held outdoors or indoors. I view my therapeutic role as walking the path of healing with you, developing healthy coping skills, managing overwhelming feelings such as anger and stress, and giving voice to your feelings thoughts and experiences.
