Therapist Overview

It has been an honor to walk alongside individuals as they navigate this journey called life. I am a licensed professional counselor and hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. As a therapist, my goal is to create a safe space and empower each client as they explore and gain insight into their emotions, thoughts, and relational patterns. I believe that we all have the innate ability to heal through safe, supportive relationships. My clinical experience includes working with individuals who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and life transitions (i.e. divorce, relocation, adoption, etc). I work collaboratively with clients by using a strengths based, trauma informed, and person-centered approach. I believe in utilizing an integrative approach to address individual needs. Some modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Dessensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution Focused, and Mindfulness interventions to name a few.
