I view clients as whole people in the context of their lives - You are more than just a diagnosis. It's important to me to collaborate in setting goals, selecting an approach to therapy, and checking in along the way. I've worked with people from a broad range of backgrounds with a variety of concerns, including anxiety, stress, relationships, life transition, depression, time management, and LGBTQ+ issues. I also provide relationship counseling for high-functioning couples who want to improve communication, feel more loved, work as a team instead of against each other, or just get unstuck from an old issue or pattern. I am a licensed psychologist trained in evidence-based methods (CBT, ACT, Gottman Couples Therapy Level 1). I often incorporate skill-building (such as mindfulness, communication, self-compassion, and managing unhelpful thoughts) to help clients cope with life’s stressors while building insight into larger emotional and behavioral patterns. I value and respect differences and strive to create a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment for all. Please feel to reach out to me if you have any questions or would like to work together.
