It is inevitable that our lives are consumed with daily challenges and obstacles. For each of us, our ability to manage those challenges differs; or, we settle and adapt much to the detriment of our emotional wellbeing and feeling as though there is no end in sight. Therapy provides an opportunity to examine those challenges and reframe them into a new, positive perspective. When we are able to see our way through and discover solutions to those problems from a position of strength, it can take on a whole new meaning. My specialty focuses on the emotional and behavioral challenges of children, adolescents and teens, however, I work with adults, parents and families as well. I use active listening to better understand the problems, and help you to identify your strengths and your inherent ability to navigate stressors without them negatively impacting your life.
