Annie Rose Elder

I have worked in social services since 2007. I have experience working with youth and families involved in foster care, adoption, behavioral and crisis services, and complex childhood trauma. I am passionate about working with marginalized populations and with those who feel they don’t fit within societal constructs. I am supportive of all gender expressions, sexual orientations, and family compilations. I am trained in various therapeutic modalities, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Lifespan Integration. I have attended the core therapist training for survivors of sexual assault. I also utilize mindfulness, and creative expression. I use a Health at Every Size framework when working with eating disorders. I work with an anti oppression framework to support individuals in seeing systemic injustices both externally and internally and challenging these ideals. I strive to support and encourage my clients in creating a better world for themselves and others in the present and future.
