Whether you are experiencing difficulty because of painful experiences from childhood, more recent, or current circumstances that have led to stress, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, emotional issues, co-dependency, loss/grief, trauma, and relationship issues -- I would love to help. I strive to create a relaxed and accepting environment that allows you to explore not only your struggles but strengths as well. I believe that everyone is the expert of their own life and should feel empowered to create their own peace and live authentically. I help others achieve their goals by developing an approach to best meet their needs and create better balance in their lives. I often use cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance & commitment therapy, compassion-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques to increase self-confidence in the ability to manage life's stresses. Taking that first step to reach out is often uncomfortable, but it is also the most important - there is growth in that discomfort. After all, we all need other people and human connection!
