Therapist Overview

Seeking therapy means acknowledging that life isn’t just what we’d like, and finding hope that the future can be better. I serve my clients with compassion and authenticity. Through therapy, we will collaborate to find therapy goals and identify scientifically supported strategies to accomplish your goals. People who complete psychotherapy are happier in relationships and more satisfied with their lives. I am proud to be a part of that transition for my patients. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to treat a range of problems, including depression, anxiety, phobias, panic attacks, insomnia, bipolar disorder, pain, workplace stress, and relationship problems. CBT is patient-focused, goal-directed, and time-limited. I use CBT because you deserve the best mental healthcare available today. In addition to private practice, I am a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at UCF. My research focuses on depression and relationships between medical and mental health. T
