Therapist Overview
I have twenty years experience in mental and behavioral health. I have lived my entire life with a chronic illness. These two factors help me to view the issues that my clients are coping with from a unique perspective. I have experience coaching people to reach their personal and professional goals, coaching, consulting and facilitating for those with mental health concerns to learn skills to become more independent, and consulting and educating those with physical health issues so that they learn skills to advocate and navigate the health system for themselves. I offer Life Coaching, Consultation, Consultation/Facilitation, and Educational/Professional Development opportunities. My focus is to help those with an obstacle in their life, primarily a mental health or physical health issue. I teach people coping skills, advocacy skills, and accountability skills to help remove the fear that these issues can cause. It’s my belief that when an obstacle blocks our path in life, we often feel trapped. I have learned that even when those obstacles appear; every day, mental health, or physical health issues, that there is always another path to that ultimate goal. I want to teach people to use skills within themselves and learn new skills to reach their dreams and goals.
