Therapist Overview
Dr. Lampert provides therapy during the afternoon and after typical “work hours” from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday. He has experience, within inpatient and outpatient settings, working with patients who suffer from various conditions, including depression, anxiety, LGBTQ issues, substance addiction, alcohol abuse, trauma, personality disorders, grief and loss, specific phobias, issues with impulsive behaviors, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD & Asperger Syndrome), eating disorders, and non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI or “cutting”). Gottman Level 1 trained, Dr. Lampert can efficaciously provide Couples and Marriage Therapy for the purpose of improving communication between partners, resolving conflict, improving intimacy, and restoring trust. Via a systems approach, Family Therapy is conducted to improve familial communication, reduce conflict, and improve overall systemic health. I strive to build an authentic connection with my patients and do so by taking a “human-first” approach in my interactions. I am engaged and active in therapy, easily-accessible to answer questions and encourage communication outside of sessions via e-mail. My goal is to take the knowledge I have as a doctor and apply it in a meaningful and friendly manner.
